Founded in 1982 as the first Spanish Feline Association, ASFeC's objective is to promote, spread, improve, preserve and defend the interests of cats and of all feline breeds.

Since its incorporation, ASFeC has organized a number of events (conferences by experts, feline hairdressing shows, etc.), all of them focused to increase more and more the number of people interested in the feline world in general, be it the pedigree cats world or that of the cats without pedigree, which we often forget about.

Furthermore, with date of 11th May 2000, we achieved the Official Recognition for the management of the genealogical book of pedigree cats, thus becoming the only association at a national level achieving such an acknowledgement, which backs up the work that all of us are carrying out.

In this web site, in permanent enlargement, you will find articles on cats, advice, information, some regulations and laws of importance in reference to animals and, little by little, all what we think that can be relevant so as to achieve one of our main objectives: the well-being of animals and of cats in particular.
